| On Sunday at 1323hrs, Co2 and mutual aid were dispatched to the 1st block of Schoolhouse Rd for a house fire. Chief 2 arrived on scene with fire out the rear of the structure and requested the 2nd Alarm (working fire). Truck 2 arrived taking Side A and going to the roof for ventilation. Squad 2 and Engine 6 arrived, with crews stretching 2 crosslays from the Squad for fire attack. Crews were met with fire throughout the first floor and attic area, as well as hoarding conditions. Crews operated for just under 3hrs before clearing the scene.
Thank you to mutual aid departments that assisted on scene, and to Liverpool Fire Company and Newport Fire Company for transferring and covering our station while crews were committed.
