Just prior to 0800hrs, Engine 2 was dispatched as a replacement piece for a 1st alarm house fire in the 200blk of Armstrong St in Halifax Borough. The Engine responded with 4 on dispatch. On arrival, the crew split with 1 going in the bucket of Truck 20 to preform ventilation, and the others assisting interior with opening up and hitting hot spots. The crew assisted on scene for just under an hour, before going available.
While the Engine was committed, the Chief and Utility responded to a non-injury mva in the 1blk of Gambers Corner Rd, Penn Twp. No Fire/EMS services were needed, and the box was placed available shortly after arrival.
