Just after 1200hrs, Company 2 and Tanker 9 (New Buffalo) were dispatched to the 1st Block of Lavonne Dr in Penn Township for a garage fire. Chief 2, Tanker 2, Truck 2, and Squad 2 arrived on scene and found a fully involved detached garage. Chief 2 immediately requested an additional 2 Tankers and 1 Engine, and crews began extinguishment. Engine 2 responded and set up a fill site at a dry hydrant at New Blooms Greenhouse. Crews operated on scene for a little over an hour before going available.
